Fuzuli (1494 AD - 1563 AD) is one of the most famous Turkish poets of the 16th century.

Fuzuli was known for his delicacy and the power of emotion, and his poetry became the epitome of the development and progression of Turkish literature.

He is called the Prince of Turkish poetry.

Fuzuli was born in Karbala, Iraq.

He authored about fifteen literary works in the languages; Turkish, Persian and Arabic.

One of the most famous works is "Turkish Divan" which includes all his poems that he wrote by the old Turkish language (Ottoman Turkish).

The bulbul and the rose are the most famous imaginative images of love in Turkish literature, as the bulbul is often an example of the lover and a symbol of him, and the rose is often an example and a symbol of the beloved, while both of them together are often the title of love stories and an icon of art and beauty.
