جوانب القوة و الضعف و الفرص و التهديدات المحتملة لأثر الوظائف الجامعية في تنمية الإبداع لدى طلبة الجامعة الأردنية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس

الملخص EN

Due to the possibility of having questions raised about the Strengths, Weaknesses & the Potential Opportunities &Threats for the university jobs’ role in developing innovation , the problem of this research was looking for the answers of these questions through exploring the academic staff’s view so this research aimed to observe the points of strength and weakens in addition to reveal the opportunities and the possible threats of the role of university in developing innovation of University of Jordan students from the perspective of the academic staff at University of Jordan.

A random sample consisted of 200 members of the academic staff in University of Jordan was selected.

To achieve the study’s objectives , the descriptive approach and SWOT analysis were used.

The most significant results were as follows: 1- The teaching job role has aspects of strength represented by the university’s treatment with scholarships and the scientific research’s role’s significant aspects of strength are represented by having councils of scientific research that make periodical and regular investigations to the researches.

2- The teaching job role has aspects of weakness represented by lack of students’ involvement in issuing a journal specialized in innovation presented to them everything new .

3- A possible threat to instruction, scientific research & community service’s role in University of Jordan pointed to difficulties that hinder organizing students' field visits to places of work according to their specialization in addition to revealed difficulties hinder allocation of appropriate budget to the activities of the scientific research annually.

In light of the results, the research recommended the following : 1.

The principals of University of Jordan participate in supporting the scientific research through students’ involvement in issuing a journal specialized in innovation , providing processes of educational broadcast using radio, television and via electronic educational mediator in addition to linking the scientific research with the community’s issues.

2.

University of Jordan pays much attention to the cognitive mutual process through allocating offices for the university inside the private sector and private offices in the university .

3.

University of Jordan increases the interest in the qualitative aspect of its scientific research and allocates appropriate budget to the activities of the scientific research annually.
