The present study aims to identify the nature of the relationship between the vocational maturities with some of the variables (major, level of achievement, and educational and economic level of parents) among a sample of third-year high school students of the Physical Science and Theoretical Science sections in the city of Najran.

The study sample has included (234) students: (40) students from the section of Theoretical science and (194) students from the section of Physical Science.The researcher designeda tool for measuring the vocational maturity level among high school students prepared by the researcher in (2012).

The study results showed no statistically significant differences for the standard of vocational maturity between Theoretical section students and physical section students according to the variable of major, while it showed statistically significant differences according to the variable of study level at (0.05) between the level of average educational achievement, on the one hand, and the level of high educational achievement on the other hand; the differences were in favor of the level of high educational achievement.

The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences among the study sample depending on the variable of economic level between the students of low-economic level and those of high-economic level in favor of the students with low-economic level; it also showed statistically significant differences among the study sample according to the variable of level of education for the father at (0.05) between mid-level and higher level and the differences were in favor of parents with high educational level.Whereas the study doesn’t show statistically significant differences among the study sample due to the variable of educationallevel for mothers.

The study has resulted in a number of recommendations.
