الملخص EN

There are many philosophical and existential questions that the human mind raises, by which it realizes its existence, and by answering them and others, its vision for himself, his life and his existence is fulfilled, and from them it starts and ends.

Hence, many philosophers and thinkers have tended to try to answer these existential questions in various ways.

One of them was to imagine ideal cities in which their vision of man, society and life in general would be fulfilled.

And these visions that we may receive from philosophers, thinkers, clerics, or scholars, remain with the following generations the subject of continuous discussion, development and change.

since literature has a major role in posing and discussing all these issues, a style of narratives has emerged concerned with the creation of ideal worlds and other counterworlds, chaotic and dark.

They are an extension of the old philosophical idea, and each has its own history, influence and characteristics.

its great importance in shaping awareness and anticipating the future.

its link with the three elements of time (past, present and future).

Thus it is important to study dystopian novels as a newly emerging literary style in Arabic literature, so we need to study its definition, its most important manifestations, and the aspects of its association with its Western counterpart, with the help of many Western dystopian novels such as the novels of George Orwell and Aldous Huxley, as well as the Egyptian dystopian novels while focusing mainly on Four novels: Utopia novel (published in 2008 AD) and Path of Rat (published in 2016 AD), both of them by Ahmed Khaled Tawfiq, Mercury's novel (published in 2015 AD) by writer Muhammad Rabi`, and the novel( rules of jaritin) By Amr Abdel Ha
