Which is a tool to help companies organize their work in a way that achieves their sustainability, and the responsibility towards the community becomes part of the ethics of the institutions and a regular and well-established work in their strategies.

For Algerian organizations, the state's efforts to encourage adoption and compliance with ISO 26000 through the National Institute of Standardization are still small and in its first steps.

Social responsibility practices in Algerian institutions still need many efforts to improve them and to extend them to all institutions to become a well-established principle in their strategies and programs.

L'initiative internationale pour promouvoir et unifier le concept de la responsabilité sociale est apparue au niveau international, pour cela l’organisation internationale de normalisation a élaboré la directive ISO 26000.

Cette dernière représente un guide pour toutes les institutions afin d'unifier les pratiques sociales au niveau international, elle est aussi considérée comme un outil et un plan pour aider les entreprises à organiser leur travail de manière à leur assurer la durabilité, afin que la prise de responsabilité envers la société devienne une partie de l'éthique des institutions et un travail régulier et fermement ancré dans leurs stratégies.

Quant aux institutions algériennes, les efforts de l'État pour encourager l'adoption et la conformité à la norme ISO 26000, par le biais de l'Institut national de normalisation, en sont encore à leurs premiers pas ; ils ont besoin de beaucoup d'efforts pour les améliorer, les généraliser et les étendre à toutes les institutions afin qu'elles deviennent l'un des principes ancrés dans leurs stratégies et programmes.
