The consecration of the "right or duty to intervene" at the end of the cold war and the induced risk of interventionism in the internal affairs of the periphery states constitutes a serious precedent since the birth of the nation-state and concerns Algeria, a highly sovereignist country.
The military aggression of Iraq in 2003 and that of Libya in 2011 constitute reference cases which alerted Algeria's politico-strategic decision-makers to integrate now, as a highly probable threat hypothesis, a dissymmetrical Western aggression.
So how do we define this threat and what are the ways and means to contain it?

La consécration du "droit ou du devoir d'intervention" à la sortie de la guerre froide et le risque induit d'interventionnisme dans les affaires internes des Etats de la périphérie constitue un grave précédent depuis la naissance de l'Etat-nation et préoccupe l'Algérie, un pays hautement souverainiste.
L'agression militaire de l'Irak en 2003 et celle de la Libye en 2011 constituent des cas de références qui ont alerté les décideurs politico-stratégiques de l'Algérie afin intégrer désormais comme hypothèse de menace hautement probable, une agression dissymétrique occidentale.
Alors comment définir cette menace et quelles sont les voies et moyens pour la contenir?
