This research aimed to shed light on the role of the information specialists training in activating remote information services in light of crises.

In order to identify the direct and indirect services provided by the Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University Library.

This research used the descriptive analytical-based method of research to achieve the goals of the research based on the actual problem and its different dimensions, analyzing the causes, and its impacts in order to come up with the necessary solutions, in addition to the documentary approach.

The observation was used as a tool for data collection.

The research answered several questions, the most important of which are: What is the role of the Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University Library in the information specialist training?, What is the contribution of the information specialist in the IAU library in providing and activating information services remotely و And what is the process taken to ensure the continuity of the information specialist training? Findings indicated that the Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University Library has succeeded in continuing to provide its services remotely in various forms commensurate with the diversity of its beneficiaries, by employing the available means, technical tools, and human elements.

In addition, the Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University Library possesses qualified human resources that enable it to manage the library and provide services in emergencies and crises.
