The variables of the material power of the state are all the geographic, military, economic, and technological ingredients that the state possesses and which it employs in creating a global position to obtain the results it wants, as well as internal and external challenges that it must face in order to reach a better position.

This study examined the physical variables of power in Japan based on the historical and descriptive analytical approach, and it is based on the question that how did Japan use its geographical, military, economic, and technological components in building its global strength? This study was divided into two main topics, the first topic was devoted to studying the elements of geographical and military power in Japan.

It was divided into two requirements.

We dealt with the first requirement of the geographical elements in Japan, while the second requirement dealt with the elements of military power in Japan, while the second topic was devoted to To study the elements of economic and technological strength, we dealt with the first requirement in the elements of economic power in Japan, while we dealt with in the second requirement the elements of technological power in Japan.

This study (the variables of the material strength of Japan) reached several results, namely that the geographical variable had both positive and negative effects on the Japanese force, on the negative side, its geographical location within a geographical region famous for natural disasters made it vulnerable to many risks, but from the aspect The positivity has given it a world-class site with terrain and diverse climates, which is in the interest of its international economic strength.

As for the military aspect, although Japan relied on the United States of America to provide it with military protection, it did not lose sight of the establishment of its own military force for possible future dimensions.

As for the fundamentals of economic and technological strength of Japan, we can say that the Japanese mind that produced the Japanese technology was and still is the main engine for the tremendous economic progress witnessed by Japan in various economic aspects, and the main source of Japanese economic strength.
