Salomon Jadassohn is a German romantic composer, born on August 13, 1831 and died on February 1, 1902 in Russia, enrolled in elementary education at the Leipzig Conservatory, Germany in 1848, he studied piano playing with Ignaz Mochilis and studied playing the piano privately on Franz List in Weimar Weimar, in addition to studying the science of musical composition with Moritz Hauptmann, Ernst Richter and Julius Ritz .

Jaddasohn worked as a professor in harmony and counterpoint science and as a composer and his music was not without the influence of Wagner and Franz List's music, which left a deep impression on him, as he wrote more than 140 musical works in various forms of musical composition, especially for the piano, and he also put many literary works in musical composition .

Jaddasohn taught the science of musical composition in addition to teaching playing the piano in the Leipzig Conservatory and became one of the most famous teachers, where he studied under Verrocchio Bozoni, Edward Gregg, Julian Carrillo, Isaac Albeniz, George Chadwick and others .

Whereas, the works of Jaddasohn for the piano were not covered by any of the researchers in the study and analysis despite the fact that they contain many techniques and playing difficulties, so the researcher aims to identify the techniques and difficulties of playing and the artistic methods of the composer of a melody and variations of Classified 40 of the single piano and work to overcome those difficulties and innovate exercises That helps in this, in addition to developing musical instructions that help the student to reach their good artistic performance .

The research includes “Introduction, problem of the research, the idioms of the research, the importance of research, the questions of research and the limits of the research" It include two sections as follows: First section: the theoretical frame concerning: About the life of Salomon Jadassohn, his literary, important compositions for the piano compositions in particular .

Second section: the applied frame concerning: The answer to the questions of the research through the theoretical and performance analysis study the performance techniques, presenting suggestions, performance directions, and the necessary practices to ease the difficulties of performance techniques which included in the pieces of the research sample .

The research ended with recommendations and a list of Arabic and foreign references and Internet Sites .
