الملخص AR

اهتم المؤرخون و الباحثون في كتاباتهم بالشخصيات الرئيسة في جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين و أهملوا تقريبا الحديث عن بعض العناصر التي تقلهم مكانة كرؤساء شعب الجمعية مثلا لكن هذا لا ينفي إسهامهم الفعال إلى جانب الرؤساء لصالح الجمعية و كان لابد لسد هذا الفراغ من الاعتماد على الصحافة الإصلاحية العربية التي كان لها اهتمام بمقالات العناصر السالفة الذكر هذا من جهة و من جهة أخرى لكونها مصدر لم يلق نصيبه من البحث و الدراسة باستثناء وجود دراسات متخصصة في موضوع معين بجعل احدي الجرائد أنموذجا للبحث.

و قد كان نموذجي في هذه الورقة البحثية "علي مرحوم" و هو من الشخصيات الجيجلية التي برزت مع مطلع القرن العشرين فقد نشطت و ساهمت في إرساء دعائم الإصلاح بالمنطقة و تجسيد غاية جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين بها أولا كنائب كاتب شعبة الجناح بمنطقة جيجل وثانيا كمتجول للبصائر و ثالثا كمحرر صحفي بجريدة البصائر الأولى و الثانية.

وفي ضوء ما تقدم و من أجل إعطاء هذه الشخصية الجيجلية جزءا من البحث و الدراسة ارتأيت إلى التعريف بها مع تبيان مدى مساهمتها من خلال جريدة البصائر الأولى و الثانية في تبليغ مشاريع جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين و توصيل أهدافها و الدفاع عنها و كشف الأهداف السرية لأعداء الإصلاح

الملخص EN

Historians and researchers have been interested, through their writings, in the main personalities of the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulemas.

However, they almost neglected to focus on some elements of the said Association holding lesser positions, such as the section chief of the Association.

Nevertheless, this does not negate their effective participation, alongside the presidents, for the benefit of the Association.

To fill this gap, it was necessary to rely upon the Arab reformist press because of its interest in the articles of the personalities mentioned above, on the one hand, and on the other hand, because it was a source that did not receive its share of research and study, except, however, some specialized studies in a specific field that took one of these journals as a model to study.

In this article, I took as a model of study the personality of Ali Marhoum, a Jijilian personality who emerged in the early 20th century.

This personality was active and helped to lay the pillars of reform in the region and participated in the embodiment of the purpose of the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulemas.

He was initially active as deputy secretary of El-Djenah branch in the Jijel region, then as a correspondent of the newspaper Al-Bassair, to finally fulfill the duties of press editor in the newspaper El-Bassair I and II.

In the light of the foregoing, and in order to devote to this personality its share of research and study, I thought it useful to make it known by highlighting the extent of its contribution, through the newspaper El-Bassair I and II, to inform the Algerians of the projects of the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulemas, to communicate to them its objectives, to defend it and to reveal the secret objectives of the enemies of the reform.

Les historiens et les chercheurs se sont intéressés dans leurs écrits aux personnalités principales de l'Association des Oulémas Musulmans Algériens.

En revanche, ils ont presque négligé de s'intéresser à certains éléments occupant des positions moindres, telle que celle de chef de section de l'association.

Néanmoins, cela ne nie pas leur participation efficace, aux cotés des présidents, au profit de l'association.

Pour combler cette lacune, il a été nécessaire de s'appuyer sur la presse réformiste arabe en raison de son intérêt pour les articles des éléments susmentionnés, d'une part, et d'autre part, car c'était une source qui n'a pas reçu sa part de recherche et d'étude, à l'exception, toutefois, de certaines études spécialisées dans un domaine précis qui prenaient l'un de ces journaux comme modèle à étudier.

Dans le présent article, j'ai pris pour modèle d'étude la personnalité d'Ali Marhoum, une personnalité Jijilienne qui a émergé au début du XX siècle.

Cette personnalité a été active et a contribué à poser les piliers de la réforme dans la région et a participé à la concrétisation de l'objectif de l'Association des Oulémas Musulmans Algériens.

Il a d'abord été actif en tant que secrétaire adjoint de la section d'El-Djenah à la région de Jijel, puis en tant que correspondant du journal El-Bassair, pour remplir enfin les fonctions de rédacteur de presse dans le journal El-Bassair I et II.

A la lumière de ce qui précède, et en vue de consacrer à cette personnalité sa part de recherche et d'étude, j'ai jugé utile de la faire connaitre en mettant en exergue l'étendue de sa contribution, à travers le journal El-Bassair I et II, à faire parvenir aux Algériens les projets de l'association des Oulémas Musulmans Algériens, à leur communiquer ses objectifs, à la défendre et à révéler les objectifs secrets des ennemis de la réforme.
