This article includes a stylistic study of Hashim Al-Mirqal's poetry.

AL-Mirqal is one of the knights that believed in an important issue which is spreading the religion of Islam and its good teachings.

He carried his sword fighting while devoting his poetry to serve his Imam, the commander of the faithful and the heir of the prophet (peace be upon him).

His poetry, although it is not much, includes great stylistic attributes.

These attributes reflect the poet's ability of using the language artistically in such a way that shows his good choice of words.

His poem's collection includes a variety of vocabulary of fighting, media, war and religion, which is close to reality.

His choice of words moves his language away from normal to creative with new connotations and with raucous sound that is resulted from the cracking of the swords, blades and spears.

That aesthetic presentation is achieved by using simile, metaphor, and metonymy
