The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive theoretical framework for the Cost Leadership Strategy through the importance and development of this strategy since its introduction by Michael Porter in the 1980 and until now, as well as to clarify the environmental conditions and conditions that require the implementation of this strategy in organizations of all types.

It also aimed to clarify the importance of Cost Leadership Strategy in achieving competitive advantage and then survival and continuity.

The study reached several results, the most important of which are the following: - The Cost Leadership Strategy aims to prioritize competitors by achieving leadership and reducing costs in the industry, using a set of sub-policies that drive this goal.

- Cost Leadership Strategy is concerned with determining the mechanisms in which the strategic business unit will compete with competitors to build its competitive advantage.

- The decision to implement the Cost Leadership Strategy requires a holistic analysis of the environment variables of the organization.
