The principle objective of the monetary policy in Algeria is to realize price stability.
Hence the central bank performance from yearly data we have consecrates our article, to analyze from 1990 till 2017, order to confirm if the monetary policy will fulfill that objective through the evaluator of transparency.
However, the results obtains indicate that no significant relationship exist between the index of transparency and the objective of price stability.
Certainly, the inflation was decreasing during the period of our study, but the target deviations stayed still effectual.
الملخص FRE
La politique monétaire en Algérie a pour principal objectif la réalisation de la stabilité des prix.
De là, nous nous sommes incités à consacrer cet article pour analyser et vérifier l'aptitude de cette politique monétaire à réaliser l'objectif susmentionné à travers le critère de transparence entre 1990 et 2017.
Ce faisant, les résultats obtenus indiquent qu'il n'existe aucune relation significative entre l'indice de transparence et l'objectif de stabilité des prix.
L'inflation diminuait, certainement, durant la période d'étude, mais les écarts de la cible sont encore restés actifs.
