This research aims at identifying the characteristics, forms and manifestations of university violence, highlighting the factors leading to student violence inside universities, highlighting the effects of violence in Egyptian universities, knowing the role of community institutions in confronting university violence, in order to reach the future vision for upgrading higher education institutions to face the phenomenon The study used a descriptive and case study methodology to determine the circumstances and factors leading to the commission of university violence and its effects.

The study found that scientific and academic delays and malfunctions in the educational system are the most important negative effects resulting from violent behavior on the university, followed by a coalition of property within the university, the university incurs many material losses, negative impact on the efficiency of graduates and the reputation of the university, and finally the loss of confidence in the university By the student and the university.
