Populations all over the world are facing to different and serious environmental problems, that is why they should change their behaviors and their consumption modes.

In fact, the linear economic model adopted until now has influenced negatively the ecological equilibrium of our planet and the living conditions of populations across the globe.

Thus, this paper is trying to show the importance of the circular economy which is considered as an alternative to consumers and producers to avoid waste.

It will be possible through an efficient resources management and also by reducing the amount of waste generated in the industry.

For this purpose, companies especially Algerian ones should invest to acquire clean production technologies, which help them to save money and to get a competitive advantage.

الملخص FRE

La multitude et la gravité des problèmes environnementaux auxquels font face les habitants de la planète, les poussent à agir en urgence en vue de changer leurs comportements et leurs modes de consommation.

En effet, le modèle économique linéaire adopté jusqu'à présent a influencé de manière négative l'équilibre écologique de notre planète et les conditions de vie des populations à travers le monde.

Ainsi, ce papier tente de montrer l'importance de l'économie circulaire, qui se propose comme alternative permettant aux consommateurs et aux producteurs d'éviter tout gaspillage, et ce à travers la gestion efficace des ressources naturelles et la diminution de la quantité de déchets produite.

Pour ce faire, les entreprises et notamment en Algérie devraient investir pour acquérir des technologies de production propres, qui permettent de réaliser des économies et de leur procurer un avantage concurrentiel.
