The large and accelerating developments in the modern business environment made thecustomer's desires fluctuating and accelerating, which led the economic units to viewthese desires as a moving goal and they must adopt modern cost strategies to achieve thegoal and keep pace with the speed of events in the market, and these strategies are qualitycosts (QC).

The research problem is represented in the extent of the impact of quality costs onachieving the competitive advantage through reducing costs and customer satisfaction.

The research aims to present and analyze the reality of quality costs while showing itsrole in achieving the competitive advantage.

As for the importance of research lies in themodern approach based on modern scientific foundations in the need to focus onmeasuring quality costs and their effect on achieving competitive advantage.

The most prominent conclusions reached by the research is that focusing on qualityimprovement programs results in achieving an increase in revenues through the generaleffect of quality in enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing market share as wellas increasing the level of sales resulting in lower costs through economies of scale.
