الملخص EN

Since 1873, Zaytouna University has supervised all the traditional educational institutions in the country with its various levels and has spread its branches in most regions of the country, where it qualifies them to join the Zaytoon University in the capital and its branches in the center and south.

The university was granted its students and students certificates of graduation at all levels of education.

Teachers, professors, preachers, judges and scholars.

For centuries, the university has been following the task of teaching everything related to literature, language and legislation from jurisprudence, fundamentals, modernity and all related sciences to understanding Islam and its origins, developing ijtihad and spreading the call.

In addition to its scientific role, Zaytuna University has assumed its national responsibility in the face of the French occupation, defending the homeland and the people, preserving the country's identity and contributing to the greater part of the work to achieve independence through the leadership of jihad Armed against the occupation and demonstrations and awareness campaigns and political action, which was one of the largest leaders, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Thaalabi Such as the political mobility of the students of Zaytouna University is an important part of the youth movement, which in turn represents one of the components of the SPLM, but the student movement was linked to a number of conditions that governed its appearance, development and general orientation according to the historical stage experienced by the Tunisian society during the colonial era (1881-1956).

The student movement in a colonial country is different from that which is active in a capitalist or socialist country.

If we look at the political mobility of students in Tunisia, it is generally associated with the liberal struggle of the Tunisian Arab people against French colonial domination and social backwardness.

This struggle has gone through many stages that coincided with the level of material development and the level of awareness among its members.

The political movement of the students was characterized by the lack of calm since the movement's first step in its struggle, accompanied by the thirst and burning of thought and politics.

The university squares became a framework for intellectual and political debates, public incitement and propaganda for private community projects and training on the street struggle, organization, leadership and planning.

Home to the activity of leaders and kinetic elements.
