الملخص الإنجليزي

To find out the effect of organic manure sources on the growth and yield of potatoes Desiree variety in calcareous soil conducted a field experiment in one a field located in physical education areas –Baghdad University- Jadiriyah campus in fall season 2015-2016 in a Loamy Sand soil, the study included two factors the first include four organic sources of manure O0(without adding) O1(poultry) O2(wheat straw) O3(palm fronds) with volume was 30 T.

ha-1 and the second included the application three levels of the chemical fertilizer M0(without application) M1(120 kg N + 60 kg P + 200 kg K) M2 (240 kg N+120 kg P+400 kg K) layed out in a (RCBD) with three replication.

The results indicated that the treatment of organic fertilization (poultry) excelled on the treatments of wheat straw and date palm in the concentrations of nutrients in the leaves it gave 3.72 % nitrogen and 0.41% Phosphorus and 4.11% potassium in leaves and total yield 49.94 T.

ha-1 , The M2 mineral fertilizer treatment showed an increase in the study indices compared to the mineral fertilization treatments M0 and M1, which gave 4.77 % nitrogen, 0.45 % phosphorus, 4.67 % potassium in tubers, 50.09 ton ha total of tubers, The treatment of interaction M2O1 was higher by giving the highest values of the study parameters compared to the other interaction factors, where the concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium 5.30 %, 0.51 %, 4.92 %, and 57.22 ton ha-1 were total tubers.
