This study examines such important issues as “why Arab women go to work' and 'what are the objectives of their work.' Sociology researchers have distinguished between general reasons and underpinnings for women's work, including socioeconomic and cultural ones.

Many women go to work for aesthetical reasons rather than for economic and social needs.

The study assumption has linked between family life level and social indicators such as: • Distinction among different social indicators of women's work and among socioeconomic and aesthetical reasons.

• Distinction among family life level including low, intermediate and high levels of lifestyle.

• Differentiation between the above levels of life and the reasons for women's work.

The study found that economic reasons are present among low-income families, social reasons are present among intermediate families, and aesthetical reasons are present among high-level families ■
