The objective of the research is to identify the degree to which Arabic teachers possess the skills of storytelling and their relationship to improving the listening skills of sixth graders in Karbala (holy city of Karbala) 1 - (28) teacher and teacher, chosen by the method of intent.2 - (56) students, (2 students per teacher), was randomly selected among (480) students.

For research purposes, the researcher used: A- descriptive approach and prepared a note card consisting of (18) paragraphs to determine the degree of possession of narrative narrative skills for teachers.

B - A test for students to learn the relationship between the possession of skill for teachers and its relationship to improve the listening skills of students.

The study found the following results: The teachers of the Arabic language and their teachers for the sixth grade have the skills of narrative narrative with an average score of 1.68 and a standard deviation of 0.19, with a medium degree of possession.

The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to variables (gender, experience).

The results also showed that there is a relationship between the teachers of the Arabic language skills story narrative improve the listening skills of their students.

In light of these results, the researcher recommended a number of suggestions and recommendations.
