In light of the expansion of using Internet by worldwide users, especially in the field of e-commerce, the idea of criminal protection of consumers has become one of the fundamental stances within the framework of legal necessities, especially in Iraqi legislations.

This is definitely reflected and represented by the delay of adopting the draft of cybercrime act.

The latter is the final goal of this study based on detecting and analysing texts in order to reach practical solutions regarding the problem presented.

Hence, the researcher has reached a number of conclusions and recommendations.

Accordingly, the most important recommendation is to speed up adopting the draft of the above-mentioned act (cybercrime act) to address Internet crimes, which has become widespread recently of this decade.
