The emergence of semiology (the science of signs) began with the first studies carried out by the American philosopher Charles SandresPeirce (1839-1914).

Its real birth was found in the linguistic studies emanating from the modern linguistic lesson’s researches, which was supervised by the great linguist Ferdinand de Saussure (1857-1913), to take after that varied and different study forms that appeared in post-structural studies focusing on all communicative systems’ signs, both spoken and non-verbal, according to their types and the orientations of their owners, as each one of them sought to link it to the field of knowledge in which he worked.Accordingly this research paper came to appear this science and reveal its beginnings and types.

It also came to talk about its pioneers and their contributions on their knowledge specializations and intellectual orientations .
