The Egyptian press has paid great attention to the Algerian issue through the news, articles and investigations that appeared on its pages, which dealt with its various aspects.

This press had played a major role in alerting Egyptian and Arab public opinion to its dimensions, and urging Arab governments to provide assistance to Algeria in its battle.

The Egyptian press was also interested in conveying the struggle of Algerians in France, with its peaceful parts represented by demonstrations and strikes by Algerian immigrants in France in 1956-1958, and the gunman who began in August 1958, which was not taken care of by many newspapers.

The importance of this study comes from the fact that it firstly tries to cover one aspect of the Algerian revolution that has often been ent from its literature, as historians went to study the Algerian internal field, and left the French field as important, because it relieved the pressure a lot, with the beginning of the revolution, from the first field.

Its importance also comes from an attempt to highlight an important aspect of Algeria's liberation revolution, the struggle of the National Liberation Front of France, which had been forgotten since 1962.

Thirdly, the importance of this study is that Algerian immigrants in France were the main contributors to the FLN fund, with 80% of its money.
