Muhakamat Rajul Majhul (Trial of an Anonymous Man) play by Izzal-Din Ismail represents a pioneering experience in the experimental fiction among the Arab theatre in an attempt to use the vocabulary of Epic theatre (El-Barakhti Theater) in both form and content.

It is intended to address society issues, by exposing and revealing the reality to the recipient about which he/she would think and discuss.

The study therefore tracks out the characteristics of experimental fiction in various elements that make up the dramatic text of the Trial of an Anonymous Man, starting with the parallel thresholds, the narrative plot, characters, dialogue and theatrical instructions, and ending with the dramatic space.

The study reveals that the writer has used the Epic theatre techniques inspired with the western taboo to achieve a new style in the Arab theatre, so that it would trigger the society, attain its reactions toward the reality and then participate in its main issues.

The most important of these techniques are cracking down the fourth wall in the theater and the disjointed scenes technique, as well as the inner theater technique, and the loss of the dramatic space.
