This paper presents an analytical literary study in Surat Al-Anfal of six Qur'anic discourses to the believers in general, and those who witnessed the Great Battle of Badr in particular, as this study aims to demonstrate the nature of these speeches in terms of intensity and softness, cruelty and compassion, in light of the general context of the surah represented by the reasons for its revelation, And the context for each discourse between its precedents and suffixes from the verses of the Holy Surah, with the link between the aims of the discourse and the characteristics of the artistic / Quranic image.

The study relied on the technical analytical method in studying the elements of the Qur'anic image from vocabulary, structures, methods, and partial images, while it was satisfied with analyzing the aspects of Qur'anic imaging with the phonemic values inherent in the Qur'anic comma and the phonemic structure of the discourse's vocabulary, in order to answer the question: What is the wisdom of the contrast between Expected and reality of the style of speech in Surat Al-Anfal?
