Obsolete pesticides are left over and neglected pesticides that can no longer be used; Because it is dangerous, is exhausted, or has expired; They should be disposed of in safe and environmentally sound ways, and their environmental and public health damages should be prevented.


and review the practical reality of pesticide regulation in Egypt; Have shown that the chasm is widening by the day.

Between the provisions of the written environmental law, and their application in the foreseeable practical reality; Environmental pollution with the pesticides of Obsolete pesticides is growing steadily, with more effect on anyone.

Traditional and incomplete management of hazardous waste and obsolete pesticides has been particularly regarded as one of its forms; To the occurrence of many pathogenic, toxic and carcinogenic risks to its customers; As a result of being subjected to handling, transfer and storage; In addition to damaging the environment and public health, its harmful effects and risks may continue for decades and generations to come and long terms.


While the current legislative texts have fallen short of addressing the dangers of Obsolete pesticides, Concurrent with the steady increase in the accumulation of its stocks; This study came to try to find out what these hazardous wastes and wastes pollute the environment, and the importance of safe disposal; It became urgent to conduct this research, using the descriptive and analytical method.

As one of the scientific methods to which this type of legal research belongs.


The study concluded a set of results, the most prominent of which are: The safe disposal of these abandoned piles as hazardous waste, despite their importance; It requires enormous financial and technical capabilities that some countries may not be able to afford; Among its most important recommendations is the necessity of developing legislative systems and integrated management of hazardous waste.

Issuing laws and regulations for pesticides and their hazardous waste; To keep pace with current global developments, and adopt the concepts of clean agriculture and plant health, while expanding the use of environmentally safe pesticide alternatives and biological pest control; To achieve the highest rates of economic growth while preserving the environment.
