The objective of the research was to build and standardize the personal preference of sports for young football players.

The fields of research included the human field represented by the players of Maysan province for youth football, and the temporal field for the period from 8/2/2018 to 11/6/2004.

The researchers used the descriptive method in the survey method.

The sample consisted of (145) players from Maysan province for youth football, and the SPSS system was used to obtain the results of the research.

The researchers concluded the following:  The construction and legalization of a tool to measure the personal preference of athletes for young footballers has been reached.

 The players enjoy the love of belonging, friendship, self-blame and non-submission and control in the teams they play.

 The scale is capable of recognizing the differences in the scale fields of young football players.

The researchers recommended:  Adopt a personal sports preference measure for young football players.

 The personal sports preference scale can be used by trainers and the need to use it on the players periodically during the sports season, which allows to identify this important psychological variable in the competition as well as identify the positive things to strengthen and negative to overcome of players.

 Conduct other similar studies according to the variables (gender, age and various sports events).
