The Narrative Rhythm in Al-Ramly's “Al-Fateetu-l-Muba'thar”- An Analytic Study- I have chosen Alramly's “Al-Fateetu-l-Muba'thar” for two reasons.

First, it is a famous work on both the Arabic and international levels as it is written in a language loaded with conflict and pain without being void of its narrative framework.

Besides, the novel has been translated into English and Spanish and the English version got the American Arkansas Prize in 2003 and it has been published in Egypt and Bahrain.

Secondly, the novel is based on an artistic coherent technique used to establish organized rhythmic relationships among such artistic figures as events, characters, settings, etc.

where form and content are set in a way that reflects the author's ability to introduce minute and incessant relationships in a systematic method used to organize the inner texture of the elements in the novel.

- The study includes an introduction and two sections.

The introduction deals with the definitions of the narrative rhythm.

The first section accounts for the rhythm of such narrative elements as events, characters, settings, etc.

Either for the second section, it is devoted to discuss the rhythm of the language used in the narrative methods of expression such as narration, description and dialogue.
