The current research aims to identify (impact of Reigeluth expansionary model in the Acquisition of historical concepts and the development of inferential thinking among students in the fifth grade literary).

To achieve these aims, the researcher put the following hypotheses: 1- There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance ( 0.05 ) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied according to the Rigeluth model and the average score for the control group, who studied according to the usual method to test the Acquistion of historical concepts.3- There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance ( 0.05 ) between pre and post average test scores for deductive thinking for the control group students who studied according to the usual method.4- There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance ( 0.05 ) between the average growth of deductive thinking for students of the experimental group that studied the specimen Rigeluth and the average growth of deductive thinking to control group students who studied according to the usual method in the pretest and posttest.

Research community included fifth-grade students in the literary and junior secondary schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education Nineveh province ( Mosul Center ) for the academic year 2013-2014.

The researcher determined experimentally tuning a partial chose schools Abdul Rahman Ghafiqi and Omar bin Abdul Aziz, a sample of the search for the academic year 2013-2014 AD for the purpose of application of the experiment.

The sample consisted of ( 75 ) student, (40 ) students in the experimental group, which is studying the use of Rigeluth model and ( 35 ) students in the control group, which is studying the use of the usual method.

Rewarded researcher in the two groups of search variables: intelligence and chronological age measured in months, the degree of the collection of material history of the previous year, the deductive thinking test.

Select researcher substance to the search experience, which included chapters of the three of the vocabulary of history for modern and contemporary scheduled to teach fifth grade literary academic year (2013-2014 AD ) In light of the article content select researcher historical concepts of ( 18) understood historically and in the light of these concepts promising researcher targets according to behavioral levels ( the definition, understanding, application ), as a promising plans for teaching subjects covered by Article Search experience numbered total (48) by the plan (24) plan for each of the two sets of search.

The researcher prepared a test of the concepts of historical author of (54) items of multiple choice, has been verified sincerity ( virtual ) and strength discriminatory and coefficient of difficulty and effectiveness of alternatives wrong, but its reliability has been extracted in a Keodr Richardson 20 method, reaching, ( 0.86 ), which was a good reliability coefficient.

As the researcher developed a test to think inferential, which consisted of (30) items, was to verify the authenticity of this test ( virtual ) and extracted power discriminatory paragraphs as well as the reliability coefficient of the test method using Alpha Cronbach ( 0.81 ), which was a good reliability coefficient.

The researcher taught the two groups of search himself for a period of (12) a week, according to the agenda adopted by the length of the experiment, a researcher at the plate and end of the experiment testing the concepts of historical dimensional dish and then test the dimensional deductive thinking on the two sets of search.

For the purpose of processing the data statistically researcher adopted the test for two independent samples t- Tests showed that: 1- the superiority of the experimental group students who studied according to the model Riglyot the control group students who studied in the usual way to test the concepts of historical and deductive thinking.2- there is no difference between the scores of students in the experimental group pre and post tests in the test inferential thinking.3- There is no difference between the scores of students in the control group pre and post tests in the test inferential thinking.

In light of the results of current research researcher came a number of recommendations including: 1- emphasis on the use of modern teaching models, especially model Rigeluth expansion in the teaching of history to raise the level of achievement and the development of inferential thinking.2- The need to enter history teachers training courses to familiarize them with modern teaching models, including the model Rigeluth expansion.3- Training of fifth-grade students to use literary model Rigeluth expansion in addition to other recent models.

In light of the results suggests the researcher conducting the following studies.1- Reigeluth expansionary effect of a specimen in academic achievement and trends toward students of history2- Reigeluth expansionary effect of a specimen in systems thinking among students in middle school3- the impact of atypical Rigeluth and Merle tension in educational and scientific thinking of students at the intermediate stage.
