This study investigates the relationship of connotative meaning between piety and power in terms of linguistic derivation, and to verify the credibility of this assumption, applications words have been taken from Quran.

The study concluded that the most important result is the existence of a derivative relationship between piety and power because the letters of Arabic word v.,=(u are the same letters of an Arabic v/,=(u detonates «power» as the word piety in verses of Quran denotes power.

The study innovates a new approach in the term of linguistic interpretation, because it considers the exact original letters that make up the two words regardless to the letters order, and to arrive at the special meaning of each word, and then synonymous meaning of two words, and apply this innovation in the Word of God to prove the validity of this kind of derivation.

This new interpretive practicality can be part of an objective interpretation.

The research recommended to enlarge in this kind of the study and using it in other terms, having the same kind derivation to find denotative features among them in the uses of the Quran.
