In this research, I studied the hadiths and narratives related to the prayers that are said when a faster breaks his fasting.

The research is divided into an introduction, two sections and a conclusion.

The first section is divided into three subsections.

In the first subsection, I collected the hadiths that encourage a faster to say prayers, in the second I collected the hadiths, referred directly to the Prophet (PBUH), that tell a faster what to say in his prayers, and in the third I provided the hadiths, narrated by the Companions of the Prophet, about what a faster should say when breaking his fast.

I discussed all the hadiths with regard to their narration and hadith rules and restrictions.

The second section is made up of two subsections; the first is concerned with the time of the prayer and the second with the discussion of should we say «Thirst has gone and the arteries are moist» in winter and summer? The research is concluded with the results and findings of the study
