This research studies and verifies a section on personal Judgment (Ijtihad) and the aspect of following in the book titled (Explanation of the Book Al- Mukhtasar Al-Osouli by Alam Aldeen bin Sulaiman bin Ahmad bin Zakariya al- Qurashi Al-Asadi Al-Multani Al-Hanafi (D 725 AH).

The book elucidates the text of the Ibn Hijab's book on the principles of jurisprudence.

It was chosen because it is an old, unpublished manuscript, authored by an erudite but neglected scholar as all his books are still manuscripts.

I tackled only 15 plates of the manuscript comprising 21 issues.

These indicate the author had good status, rich knowledge, precise expressions and moderate explanation, used to clarify the objectives of the texts.

He answered the objections to such objectives , showing his seriousness in certain subjects.

I divided the work in two major sections; study and verification.

Study section comprises two chapters: Chapter one covers introducing the full name of the book's explainer- Al-Sindi Al-Multani, his linage, birth, upbringing, academic life, books and other associated matters.

Chapter two is about information on the book's explanation.

It includes the documentation on the ascription of the book to Al-Sindi as its author, verification of the title and clarification of the reason for the book authorship and date, author's method and terminologies, his sources and his evaluation.

Verification section includes the description of the hand-written copy approved for the book verification, elucidation of the verification method , display of the images of the samples of the hand-written copy and the text of the section of the book after due verification.

The verified text included a section on (Ijtihad) from Ibn Al-Hajib's Mukhtasar book, making strenuous effort in its study and verification, paying attention to its paragraphing, arrangement, and commenting on it in the usual academic method so that the text be somehow near the manner intended by the author and benefits interested people.
