This study aimed at finding out the degree of practicing conflict management strategies by private secondary and basic schools in Al-zarqa govemorate and its relation to job burnout of teachers.

The sample of the study consisted of (300) male and female teachers, with a percentage of (20%) from the population of the study that consisted of 1500 male and female teachers.

To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher develop the instrument of the study that consisted of two parts.

Validity and reliability of the instrument were assured.

The findings of the study indicated that the degree of practicing conflict management strategies by private secondary and basic school.

Principals in Al-zarqa govemorate was moderate.

The findings showed that the level of job bum out of teachers from their point of view was moderate too.

The Person correlation coefficient value between the total score of conflict management strategies and the total score of job burn out was (0.27), which was significant at (a<0.05).

In light of findings of the study, the researchers recommended the following: 1.

Organizing training courses for principals and teachers to develop the required skills for conflict management strategies in schools.

Distributing educational bulletins regarding burn-out phenomenon resulting from job stress that encountered by teachers in schools.
