The volunteer work as a concept expresses the social and economic activity performed by individuals in the bodies and civil society organizations for the purpose of public benefit without the reward of a material directly back to them, and expresses volunteer work for the selfwill of the individual, because he worked optional individual chooses to engage in it willingly and we can say about that kind of altruism as well as it embodies the principle of social solidarity as it represents a group of philanthropic humanitarian community is an effective means in the advancement of society, as the complexity of social life and higher requirements made there a need for a voluntary Charitable stand side by side with government institutions to fill those needs.

And it expresses volunteer work for a humanitarian and emotional motives noble and reflects the awareness of the citizen in the renaissance of his homeland, so developed countries keen on the inclusion of volunteer work as a science taught in schools, colleges and universities.

The aim of this research to the following: .

11dentify the university youth attitudes toward volunteer work .2 to identify the differences in university youth attitudes toward volunteer work on according to type variable: Male - Female In order to achieve the goals of research has been preparing a tool to measure volunteer work trends and after extracting the validity and reliability indicators, have been applied to a sample of 200 students from Baghdad University students showed Search: The average score scale trends towards voluntary work for a sample search results were processing the data statistically was premise is higher than average, and this shows that the current study sample individuals all have positive trends Nhawwalaml volunteer.

The results also showed that there are significant differences between males and females in their attitudes towards volunteering differences were in favor of male students.

In light of the search results researcher recommended several recommendations which included: .

1 profile officials draw attention to the need to organize volunteer work through the necessary legislation.

.2 activate the role of women in the practice of voluntary work and rehabilitation of proper education for him.

Tdefine a clear strategy and organization to review legislation and laws on volunteer work.

The researcher suggested several proposals which included: .

1 set up training courses in Alwssat voluntary giving them experience and skills and increase their competence in this area.

.2 further studies and research in the field of voluntary work.

.3 attracting good elements eligible for the leadership of volunteer work to generate new ideas and that has a culture of volunteerism and influence individuals volunteer to convince them of the importance of participation.
