Democratic principles necessitate everyone’s having part of the political powor that pemits him to presserve and protect his political identity the woman, however is still suffering from political marginlisation, and hence the difficulty in direct and indirect participation in the management of governance affairs, the issue which is decidedly tackled in western democracies by upholding the the principles of man-women equality with a view to striking a happy balance in the family where all the members therein are entitled to equal political, civil and other rights stated by international conventions and national constitutions..In view of the woman’s central role within the family, being the basis and guarantor of society equilibrium, she should be empowered to obtain all the rights, including the political ones, equally as the other family members.
