The study aimed at analyzing the content of the mathematics book for the twelfth grade of the scientific and industrial branches in the first semester in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the light of the NCTM standards.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive method.

The study sample consisted of the contents of the mathematics book for grade 12, 2018 in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan one book.

The researcher used the content analysis tool, which was prepared based on the NCTM standards for content standards only in terms of number and process standards.

The study concluded that the mathematics book for the twelfth grade of the scientific and industrial classes for the 2017-2018 academic year included the standards of the National Council of Teachers NCTM for content varies in varying proportions.

One of the most important recommendations of the study is that the curriculum specialists should be informed of the international standards for curriculum development such as the NCTM standards, and the review of weaknesses and poverty in the mathematics books for the twelfth grade of the scientific branches and industry And strengths.
