In this section, the present situation of school libraries in Jordan have been discussed in separate papers, The first paper, presented in two tables the numbers of books held in libraries* student's share in these books, and the expenditure of money on books.

The second paper highlights the administrative and technical situation in school libraries affiliated to the Ministry of Education, private schools* UNRWA schools and Armed Forces schools, indicating the numbers of librarians (professional and non-professional, full-time and part-time).

The third paper focused on buildings of, and facilities in school libraries, giving information about library halls and furniture, shown seconding to the above mentioned categories.

The fourth paper is concerned with technical services, and discusses issues* such as acquisition, cataloguing, classification, and automation.

It also discusses the inherent problems hindering their acdvides; and provides certain suggestions which could help school libraries in Jordan overcome such obstacles
