Education in Morocco has been preoccupied with the logic of modernization and renewal since independence.

This process finally culminated in the Strategic Vision (2015-2030) whose main objective was to renew the educational practices.

For this reason, 23 cranes for change and renewal were suggested.

This has affected the form and content together.

Among them, the 12th crane which emphasizes the idea that "the development of the existing pedagogical model is critical to achieving the goals of change." It has focused on the renewal of educational curricula.

As a result, the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training has renewed the curricula of some subjects, including the Islamic Education curriculum at all levels.

This paper aims at highlighting the most important innovations in the curriculum of Islamic education, and the effects of these notable innovations on the educational practices in the classroom.

It concluded that the new curriculum of Islamic Education came with innovations that had a positive impact on educational practices in the classroom.
