Reading in the school context is an activity oriented, aimed at learning.
In Algeria, learners in difficulty in the fourth year of average in Ouargla still declare their inability to read a text in FLE independently.
In this case, we have made this article to present an attempt to identify the status of the reading activity in FLE in a school context in Algeria, and to research the psychological, linguistic, pedagogical and didactic elements which intervene during teaching / learning this activity.
To do this, we adopted a theoretical approach to define these elements, namely motivation, the role of the learner, the reading processes and the criteria for choosing a text for a particular group of learners in difficulty.
Our goal is to clarify the role of each element cited for successful reading of a text in FLE independently.
الملخص FRE
La lecture dans le contexte scolaire est une activité orientée, finalisée vers des apprentissages.
En Algérie, les apprenants en difficulté de la quatrième année moyenne à Ouargla déclarent toujours leurs incapacités de lire un texte en FLE de façon autonome.
En l'occurrence, nous avons fait cet article pour présenter une tentative d'identifier le statut de l'activité de lecture en FLE dans un contexte scolaire en Algérie, et de rechercher les éléments psychologiques, linguistiques, pédagogiques et didactiques qui interviennent lors de l'enseignement/apprentissage de cette activité.
Pour ce faire, nous avons adopté une approche théorique pour définir ces éléments, à savoir la motivation, le rôle de l'apprenant, les processus de lecture et les critères de choix d'un texte pour un groupe particulier d'apprenants en difficulté.
Notre objectif est d'éclaircir le rôle de chaque élément cité pour réussir la lecture d'un texte en FLE de façon autonome.
