The great transformations that modern linguistic studies have witnessed as a result of the shift the linguistics of the sentence to the linguistics of the text, which is concerned with studying the text in structure and context, revealed the rich concepts and procedural tools in rhetoric that made it occupy a prominent position in modern and contemporary studies, especially those concerned with communication, discourse and context, to the point of That many researchers considered it the historical precedent for textual science.

And that it can be a valid tool for approaching texts in their various forms if viewed within the framework of the new concepts of rhetoric, which will bring about a major transformation at the level of literary and critical studies, and will open new horizons in understanding the text and knowing its characteristics.

Believing in this proposition, we decided in this research paper to extrapolate some concepts of Arabic rhetoric in light of textual linguistics to determine the extent of the ability of Arabic rhetoric to adapt to the achievements of the modern linguistic lesson.
