There is a growing interest in rural entrepreneurship and the promotion of socalled “green” businesses.
A variety of policies have been adopted to be able to supervise it.
This research work aims at studying the entrepreneurship in the country of Bejaia city.
The objective is to identify the standard profile of the entrepreneur as well as the factors that determinate the entrepreneurship in this field.
To fulfill our target, we present a background of the rural policy in the Algerian context.
A questionnaire survey, correlated with interviews, was carried out among a sample of entrepreneurs in the city studied.

Un intérêt de plus en plus grandissant est porté à l'entrepreneurial en milieu rural et à la promotion d'entreprises dites « vertes ».
Diverses politiques ont été adoptées pour pouvoir l'encadrer.
Ce travail cherche à étudier l'entrepreneuriat en milieu rural dans la wilaya de Bejaia.
L'objectif visé étant de dégager le profil-type des entrepreneurs au même titre que les facteurs déterminants de l'entrepreneuriat dans ce milieu.
Pour atteindre notre objectif, nous présentons un historique de la politique rurale dans le contexte algérien.
Une enquête par questionnaire, assortie par des entretiens, a été réalisée auprès d'un échantillon d'entrepreneurs de la wilaya étudiée.
