الملخص EN

This research aimed at designing an electronic course of the environmental education through Learning Management System (Blackboard) according to the quality standards for the design of electronic courses adopted by the universal Organization of Quality Matters (QM), and finding out its effect on the cognitive achievement and developing the environmental skills and ethics of college of education students at King Khalid University.

To achieve these objectives, an electronic course of the environmental education according to the standards of quality matters standards, cognitive achievement test, environmental skills test and environmental ethics scale were prepared.

A randomly selected sample of the undergraduate students was selected at the second semester 1438 hegira and divided them into an experimental group (38 students) and control group (36 students).

Experimental group students studied the electronic course of the environmental education which designed according to Quality Matters standards through Learning Management System (Blackboard), while the control group students studied the environmental education course utilizing the traditional method.

Pre-post testing was administrated, and data was analyzed.

The research results revealed the effectiveness of the electronic courses of educational environment designed according to the universal standards of Quality Matters Organization (QM) on raise the level of the cognitive achievement and developing the environmental skills and ethics of college of education students at King Khalid University.

Recommendations and proposals were provided according to the research results.
