The research follows the political situation in Karbala for a period (1968-2003), this period was chosen as a field of research because this historical period represented the harshest and most difficult period that Karbala and holy cities in general, dominated by arrests, executions and stalking for all that is Islamic and everything that opposes the trends of the buried Baath Party, which ruled Iraq for thirty-five years.

In it, we tried to highlight the most prominent political activities in Karbala and the government's attitudes towards them.
