La maîtrise des langues, une nécessité pour acquérir des connaissances, faire de la recherche, décrocher un poste de travail

In this contribution, we talk about of importance of languages proficiency in the appropriation of knowledge, research or the quest for a job.

To get an idea of the linguistic level of our informants, first-year undergraduate students, enrolled in the department of Letters and French Language at the university of Mentouri brothers, Constantine 1, and in order to discover their short comings, we relied on a questionnaire which includes closed and open questions and on a corpus which includes audio recordings and written productions.

The qualitative analysis of the questionnaire and of the corpus revealed that our respondents come up against articulatory, orthographic, morphosyntactic, interference and punctuation difficulties.

Dans la présente contribution, nous parlons de l'importance que revêt la maîtrise des langues dans l'appropriation du savoir, la recherche, ou la quête d'un poste d'emploi.

Pour avoir une idée sur le niveau linguistique de nos informateurs, les étudiants de première année licence, inscrits au département de Lettres et Langue Française, à l'Université Frères Mentouri, Constantine 1, afin de découvrir leurs lacunes, nous nous sommes appuyé sur un questionnaire qui inclut des questions fermées et des questions ouvertes, sur un corpus qui comprend des enregistrements audio et des productions écrites.

L'analyse qualitative du questionnaire et du corpus a fait découvrir que nos enquêtés se heurtent à des difficultés articulatoires, orthographiques, morphosyntaxiques, d'interférence et de ponctuation.
