Thus, one of the most important historical stages of Islamic historical writing, which deserves to be studied to understand its development and to clarify its historical research methods is the era of Mongol rule, Because of the great events of this era, including the fall of the Abbasid Caliphate in 656 A.H.

by the occupation of the Mongols of Baghdad, and the return of the Arabs religiously and politically to Cairo, the Mongols remained powerful and influential in the Islamic "Al-Mashreq" due to their military strength and the power of their mighty armies; thus The invasion of the Mongols on Islamic "Al-Mashreq" has had a very important impact on changing the course of events in the Mashreq on it's political, cultural, social and economic levels.

Among these employee historians is "Hamdallah Al-Mustawfi Al-Qazwini".

He belongs to the "Almstufi" family from "Qazvin" town, one of the most important towns located in "Al-Jibal" territory, and his works contain a lot of information on the Mongols political control on Persia and Iraq and the social, economical developments in that era, and historical geographical informayions about different Islamic land in those ages.

Thus the aim of this research is to investigate the historical method that followed by the historian "Al-Mustawfi" and describe his works after a brief mention of his biography and science biography.
