This research dealt with the study of the relationship between some social and demographic characteristics of a sample of married women of childbearing age and abortion, through a field study on a sample of mothers who gave birth to a live child in the specialized hospital institution for obstetrics and gynecology in the city of Batna, which numbered 505 subjects.

On the one hand, the aim of the research is to test the relationship of a set of social and demographic variables, represented by age, educational level, occupational status, residence, place of residence, kinship between spouses, as well as marital violence against the wife as independent variables for the study.

on the other hand, the research aims to test the impact of abortion incidents on the general health of women, as well as the way they deliver their babies.For this purpose, the social survey method was used, as it represents a successful method in studying social phenomena and events for which digital and quantitative information can be collected, and despite the defects that may be associated with insufficient flexibility to absorb the phenomenon, for example, the strengthening of the information that we obtained through The form using the note reduced these lapses

Cette étude examine la relation entre certaines caractéristiques sociales et démographiques d'un échantillon de femmes mariées en âge de procréer et d’avorter, à travers une étude de terrain sur un échantillon de mères ayant mené à terme leur grossesses et donné naissance à un enfant nouveau-né à l’établissement hospitalier spécialisé (EHS) en obstétrique et gynécologie de la ville de Batna.

L’échantillon compte 505 enquêtées.

L'objectif de la recherche est de mettre en corrélation la relation des variables sociales et démographiques, qui sont représentées en âge, niveau d'éducation, statut professionnel, provenance sociale, lieu de résidence d’un part et relation de parenté entre les époux, ainsi que la violence conjugale subie par l'épouse en tant que variable d'étude indépendantes d’autre part, avec possibilité d'avortement maternel ou non, comme variable dépendante de l'étude.

La recherche a tendance à tester l'effet de l’avortement sur l'état de santé général des femmes ainsi que sur la façon dont elles donnent naissance à leur nouveau-né.
