A field experiment was conducted in research station and agricultural experiments-College of agriculture/Kirkuk University during the spring season of 2017 to study effect of the varieties and nitrogen levels in growth characters and yield of mungbean.

The experiment included two varieties of mungbean (green gram & black gram) and six levels of nitrogen (40 , 60 , 80 , 100 , 120 and 140 kg N ha-1).
