The study aimed to identify the most important social media used by female university student, to specify reasons that motivate university student to use social media, explanation the most important subjects followed by female university student in social media, to discover the actual influence of using social media on social relations of female university student.

The study has used descriptive analytic method.

The study sample consisted of (200) university students from College of Education at Al-Kharj Province in Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University for all its departments (Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Kindergartens, and Special Education) through using questionnaire for gathering the data.

Results of the study revealed that female students used snap chat more than other social media.

The results also showed that reasons which motivate university student to use social media due to easy obtaining of information, also it is an easy contact method with relatives and friends.

The most important subjects followed by the university student in social media were for entertainment, and others related to woman.

There are also positive influences on social relations; such as increased contact opportunities with their colleagues, it also increases affinity and social belonging with relatives and friends.

The most of negative influences are increasing of using social media can negatively influence on other life activities, and spending of several hours in browsing of social media lead to feeling of social isolation, reduction of direct social interaction with family member.
