This study aims to identify the participation of Jordanian women in the parliamentary elections of the House of Representatives eighteenth 2016, and find out the impact of the electoral list and women›s quota in the election law No.

(6) of 2016 and amended on the participation of Jordanian women in the parliamentary elections of 2016.

The study found that the election law served on the allocation of additional seats for women by fifteen seat, and that Jordanian women have participated in the parliamentary elections of the House of Representatives eighteenth 2016, and the total number the winners (20), a woman deputy in the eighteenth House of Representatives.

And that the election list and the relative women›s quota in the election law No.

(6) of 2016 and amended impacted positively on increasing the participation of Jordanian women in the parliamentary elections of 2016.

the study recommended the need to amended the electoion law No.

(6) of 2016 and amended, so as to increase the number of women additional seats (women›s quota) to a ratio of not less than (25 %) of the total number of members of the House of Representatives, and the need to include the candidate lists women at a certain condition for its acceptance, working women candidates for the parliamentary elections training and providing financial support to them.
