The price movements have with what is happening in other alternative commodity markets, which requires studying the demand for red meat to determine consumer behavior towards it, and the research aims to analyze red meat demand in Egypt during the period from (1990 to 2018), the research depends on secondary sources of data such as the Agricultural Statistics Bulletin Issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and the publications issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, and the research relied on econometric methods to estimate the demand function On red meat in the short and long term, such as the self-regression model with distributed time gaps, known as (ARDL).
